Procedure
– compare hip muscle activity with light load, moderate load, heavy load, near max load
– estimating 10 RM can be time‐consuming and difficult especially in patients that experience pain due to injured or healing tissues
– perceived loading using the Borg category ratio 10 scale (Borg CR10 scale)9 can be an alternate tool for estimating the intensity of a given exercise
– testing 11 muscles at the hip, thigh and trunk during hip adduction and hip abduction exercises
