(1) Movement Control: pelvic tilt | hip hinge | CARs (controlled articular rotations)
– hip hinges sitting & standing
– external rotations sitting & lying
– sitting on floor; legs straight; lift leg up and to the outside; return
(2) Postural Control: tandem stance | 1-leg stance |
– 1 foot in front of the other on the floor & balance pad; eyes open & closed
– 1-leg stance eyes on the floor & balance pad; eyes open & closed
– 1-leg stance toe tapping to various points on the clock
– side stepping over low hurdles
(3) Strength: bridges | squat leg press | glute medius | ad-ductors
– 2-leg bridge; 2-leg bridge extend one leg at top of movement; 1-leg bridge
– leg press; squat to box; goblet squat
– clamshells; side-lying leg lifts; standing side leg lifts; lying on back squeeze ball between knees; side lying hip ad-ductors
– 45 degree back raise; face down on bench or table hip extension 1-leg and 2-legs
